     Katharine Mangles was the daughter of Ross Donnelly Mangles and Harriet Newcome.¹ She married Augustus John Elliot, son of Hon. John Edmund Elliot and Amelia Casamaijor, on 23 November 1869.¹ She died on 22 May 1912.¹
     Her married name became Elliot.

     David Rae married Agnes Forbes, daughter of David Forbes of Newhall.¹
     He was a minister.¹ He lived at St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland.¹

     F/Lt. Archibald Guthrie Elliot was born on 17 February 1898.¹ He was the son of Ninian Lewis Elliot and Æmilia Margaret Guthrie.¹ He married Evelyn Agnes Buchhanan, daughter of Alexander Buchhanan, on 7 January 1929.¹ He died on 2 October 1931 at age 33, in a flying accident.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Evelyn Agnes Buchhanan was the daughter of Alexander Buchhanan.¹ She married, firstly, F/Lt. Archibald Guthrie Elliot, son of Ninian Lewis Elliot and Æmilia Margaret Guthrie, on 7 January 1929.¹ She married, secondly, Maurice Carmichael Niven after 1931.¹ She died on 16 September 1965.¹
     Her married name became Elliot. From after 1931, her married name became Niven.¹

     Alexander Buchhanan lived at Nova Scotia, Canada^G.¹

     John Alexander Ninian Elliot was born on 1 April 1930.¹ He is the son of F/Lt. Archibald Guthrie Elliot and Evelyn Agnes Buchhanan.¹ He married Jean Patrick Sale, daughter of Arthur Willis Winfield Sale, in 1962.¹
     He lived in 2003 at Portmans Bridge, Gilgil, Kenya.¹

     Margaret Dolores Elliot was born posthumously on 9 November 1931.¹ She is the daughter of F/Lt. Archibald Guthrie Elliot and Evelyn Agnes Buchhanan.¹ She married Timothy Romer Matthews, son of Sidney Ronald Matthews and Marjorie Eva Betty Romer, in 1953 at Kensington, London, England.¹
     From 1953, her married name became Matthews.¹ She lived in 2003 at 7 Chislehurst Road, Richmond, Surrey, England.¹

     Helen Alice Elliot was born on 5 September 1899.² She was the daughter of Ninian Lewis Elliot and Æmilia Margaret Guthrie.² She married, firstly, Guy Fife Earle, son of Cecil Arthur Earle and Isabella Scott, on 10 November 1924.¹ She and Guy Fife Earle were divorced in 1928.¹ She married, secondly, Malcolm Douglas Lyon on 9 May 1928.² She died in November 1967 at age 68.¹
     From 10 November 1924, her married name became Earle. From 9 May 1928, her married name became Lyon.

     Alexandra Isobel Susanna Edith Sitwell was born on 24 March 1958.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Sacheverell Reresby Sitwell, 7th Bt. and Penelope Forbes.¹ She married Richard A. Hayward, son of Sir Jack Hayward, in 1991.¹
     From 1991, her married name became Hayward.¹

     Guy Fife Earle was born on 24 August 1891.¹ He was the son of Cecil Arthur Earle and Isabella Scott.² He married, firstly, Isabel Bridget Boughton-Knight, daughter of Andrew Greville Rouse-Boughton-Knight and Isabel Harriet Heber-Percy, on 6 June 1918.³ He and Isabel Bridget Boughton-Knight were divorced in 1922.³ He married, secondly, Helen Alice Elliot, daughter of Ninian Lewis Elliot and Æmilia Margaret Guthrie, on 10 November 1924.¹ He and Helen Alice Elliot were divorced in 1928.¹ He married, thirdly, Bridget Joan Sherston, daughter of Peter Davis Sherston, on 26 April 1935.¹ He died on 30 December 1966 at age 75.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.³ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He fought in the Second World War, in the Royal Air Force.¹
