     Isabella Julia Hodgkinson was the daughter of Reverend G. Hodgkinson.² She married Chester Macnaghten, son of Elliot MacNaghten and Isabella Law.¹ She died in 1880.¹
     Her married name became Macnaghten.

     Reverend Henry Alexander Macnaghten was born in 1850.¹ He was the son of Elliot MacNaghten and Isabella Law.² He married, firstly, Louisa Mangles, daughter of Ross Donnelly Mangles and Harriet Newcome, on 28 August 1873.¹ He married, secondly, Evelyn Vere Boyle, daughter of William Lewis Boyle and Charlotte Mary Norman, on 3 February 1925.² He died on 17 July 1928.¹
     He graduated from King’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Rector at Tankersley, Yorkshire, England.¹ He held the office of Canon of Sheffield.¹

     Ross Donnelly Mangles was born in 1801.² He was the son of James Mangles and Mary Hughes.² He married Harriet Newcome, daughter of George Newcome, on 16 February 1830.² He died on 16 August 1877 at 23 Montagu Street, Montagu Square, London, England.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.² He wrote the book A Brief Vindication vof the Honourable East India Company’s Government of Bengal from the Attacks of Messrs. Richards and Crawfurd, published 1830.² He wrote the book Christian Reasons of a Member of the Church of England for being a Reformer , published 1840.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Guildford between 1841 and 1858.² He was chairman of the East India Company between 1857 and 1858.² He held the office of Member of the Council of India between 1858 and 1866.³ He lived at Woodbridge, Surrey, England.³

     Louisa Mangles was the daughter of Ross Donnelly Mangles and Harriet Newcome.² She married Reverend Henry Alexander Macnaghten, son of Elliot MacNaghten and Isabella Law, on 28 August 1873.¹ She died on 28 December 1921.¹
     From 28 August 1873, her married name became Macnaghten.

     Sir Henry Pelham Wentworth Macnaghten was born on 4 September 1880.¹ He was the son of Reverend Henry Alexander Macnaghten and Louisa Mangles.² He married Frances Alice Cropper, daughter of Very Rev. James Cropper, on 16 July 1919.¹ He died on 29 May 1949 at age 68.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from King’s College School, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1902 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from King’s College School, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was an East Indian merchant.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1924.¹

     Very Rev. James Cropper was born on 2 May 1862 at Thornton Folds, Yorkshire, England.^2,3 He was the son of Edward William Cropper and Frances Wright.² He died on 11 January 1938 at age 75.²
     He was the Rector at Penshurst, Kent, England.¹

     Frances Alice Cropper was the daughter of Very Rev. James Cropper.² She married Sir Henry Pelham Wentworth Macnaghten, son of Reverend Henry Alexander Macnaghten and Louisa Mangles, on 16 July 1919.¹ She died on 12 October 1969.¹
     From 16 July 1919, her married name became Macnaghten.

     Edward Cropper Macnaghten was born on 10 June 1920.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Pelham Wentworth Macnaghten and Frances Alice Cropper.² He died on 5 November 1920.¹

     Angus David Henry Macnaghten was born on 17 June 1923.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Pelham Wentworth Macnaghten and Frances Alice Cropper.² He married Sally Watts, daughter of Edmund Hannay Watts, on 30 January 1952.¹ He died on 13 August 1988 at age 65 at Kensington, London, England.^1,3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.¹

     Sally Watts was the daughter of Edmund Hannay Watts.¹ She married Angus David Henry Macnaghten, son of Sir Henry Pelham Wentworth Macnaghten and Frances Alice Cropper, on 30 January 1952.¹ She died in 1991.¹
     From 30 January 1952, her married name became Macnaghten.
