David Rae, Lord Eskgrove1 
He was educated at University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He was admitted to the Faculty of Advocates on 11 December 1751.2 He held the office of Lord-Justice Clerk on 1 June 1799.2 He was styled as Lord Eskgrove [Scottish Law Lord].2 He was created 1st Baronet Rae, of Eskgrove [U.K.] on 27 June 1804.1

Sir William Rae, 3rd Bt.1 
He held the office of Lord Advocate.1 He was educated at University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He was admitted to Scots Bar on 25 June 1791.2 He gained the title of 3rd Baronet Rae, of Eskgrove on 22 May 1815. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Anstruther Burghs between 1819 and 1826.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Buteshire in 1830.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) on 19 July 1830.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Portarlington between 1831 and 1832.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Buteshire between 1833 and 1842.2 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.
