Southampton [U.K., 1947] on 24 May 1950.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Wavell, of Cyrenaica, and of Winchester, co. Southamtpon [U.K., 1943] on 24 May 1950.1 He fought in the Mau Mau Campaign.1
