     Hugh Eric Douglas Orr Ewing was born in 1888.¹ He was the son of Hugh Moody Robertson Orr Ewing and Helen Margaret Robertson.² He married, firstly, Janet McKinnon, daughter of John McKinnon, in 1912.¹ He and Janet McKinnon were divorced in 1919.¹ He married, secondly, Esmé Victoria Stewart, daughter of Hinton Daniell Stewart, 6th of Strathgrarry and Lucy Macfarlane, in 1922.¹ He and Esmé Victoria Stewart were divorced in 1943.¹ He married, thirdly, Muriel Emma Lucy Muschamp, daughter of Percy Allen Huntercombe Muschamp, on 7 April 1948.¹ He died on 18 July 1964.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Black Watch.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Janet McKinnon is the daughter of John McKinnon.² She married Hugh Eric Douglas Orr Ewing, son of Hugh Moody Robertson Orr Ewing and Helen Margaret Robertson, in 1912.¹ She and Hugh Eric Douglas Orr Ewing were divorced in 1919.¹
     From 1912, her married name became Orr Ewing.¹

     Philip de Malpas is the son of David de Malpas and Margaret ap Eynion.¹ He married Catherine de Hulton.¹
     Philip de Malpas also went by the nick-name of Philip ‘Goch’ (or in English, ‘the Red.¹‘) He was also known as Philip de Egerton.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Cheshire in 1309.¹

     Margaret ap Eynion is the daughter of Ralph ap Eynion.¹ She married David de Malpas, son of William de Malpas and Beatrix of Kevelioc.¹

     Richard de Malpas is the son of John de Malpas.¹ He married Letitia FitzHugh, daughter of Robert FitzHugh, Baron of Malpas.¹

     Claire Lyth is the daughter of Torolf Lyth.² She married Roderick Coverley Hugh Orr Ewing, son of John Hamish Orr Ewing and Morar Margaret Kennedy, on 28 April 1984.¹
     From 28 April 1984, her married name became Orr Ewing.

     Margaret Orr Ewing was born on 27 December 1950.¹ She was the daughter of John Hamish Orr Ewing and Morar Margaret Kennedy.² She died on 14 April 1961 at age 10.¹
