     From 24 January 1948, her married name became Orr Ewing.² From 6 September 1954, her married name became Ryton.¹

     John Hamish Orr Ewing was born on 17 August 1924.¹ He was the son of Hugh Eric Douglas Orr Ewing and Esmé Victoria Stewart.² He married, firstly, Morar Margaret Kennedy, daughter of Captain Edward Coverley Kennedy and Rosalind Margaret Innes Grant, on 24 January 1948.² He and Morar Margaret Kennedy were divorced in 1954.² He married, secondly, Ann Mary Teresa Terry, daughter of Frederick Terry, in 1954.¹ He died on 17 November 2015 at age 91.³
     John Hamish Orr Ewing usually went by his middle name of Hamish.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Black Watch.¹ He was director of Tricentrol plc between 1975 and 1986.¹ He was chairman of Rank Xerox between 1980 and 1986.¹ He was president of the Institute of Manpower Studies between 1986 and 1989.¹ He lived in 2003 at Fox Mill Farm, Purton, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Roderick Coverley Hugh Orr Ewing was born on 15 November 1951.² He is the son of John Hamish Orr Ewing and Morar Margaret Kennedy.² He married Claire Lyth, daughter of Torolf Lyth, on 28 April 1984.¹
