     Hugh Moody Robertson Orr Ewing was born in 1859.¹ He was the son of James Orr Ewing and unknown daughter Robertson.² He married Helen Margaret Robertson, daughter of Archibald Robertson, in 1883.¹ He died in 1889.¹

     Helen Margaret Robertson is the daughter of Archibald Robertson.¹ She married, firstly, Hugh Moody Robertson Orr Ewing, son of James Orr Ewing and unknown daughter Robertson, in 1883.¹ She married, secondly, William McFarlan in 1892.¹

     Major John Orr Ewing was born in 1884.¹ He was the son of Hugh Moody Robertson Orr Ewing and Helen Margaret Robertson.² He married Gwendolen Edith Curtis, daughter of Colonel Charles Herbert Curtis and Frances Edith Pinckney, on 23 November 1908.¹ He died on 8 January 1961.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 16th Lancers.¹ He was Assistant Chief Constable of the War Department Constabulary between 1940 and 1947.¹

     John Anthony Orr Ewing usually went by his middle name of Anthony.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 16th/5th Lancers.¹

     Audrey Doreen Tyson was born circa 1919.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles Edward Tyson.¹ She married John Anthony Orr Ewing, son of Major John Orr Ewing and Gwendolen Edith Curtis, on 21 September 1949.¹ She died on 18 July 2011.²
     From 21 September 1949, her married name became Orr Ewing.

     Charles Richard Orr Ewing was born on 20 July 1951.¹ He is the son of John Anthony Orr Ewing and Audrey Doreen Tyson.²
