     Sir Roger James Ferguson Chance, 3rd Bt. was born on 26 January 1893.² He was the son of George Ferguson Chance and Mary Kathleen Stobart.³ He married Mary Georgina Rowney, daughter of Colonel William Rowney, on 12 April 1921.² He died on 23 April 1987 at age 94 at Pwllheli, Gwynedd, Wales.^2,4
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded twice and mentioned in despatches twice.² He gained the rank of Captain and Adjutant in the 4th Royal Irish Dragoon Guards.²

Sussex [U.K., 1900] on 9 April 1935.² He was Press Attaché, British Embassy, Berlin in 1938.² He gained the rank of Squadron leader in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.² He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1941.² He wrote the book The End of Man, published 1974.²

     Mary Patricia Carlow is the daughter of Charles Cyril Carlow.¹ She married Robert Temple Armstrong, Baron Armstrong of Ilminster, son of Sir Thomas Henry Wait Armstrong and Hester Muriel Draper, in 1985.¹
     Mary Patricia Carlow usually went by her middle name of Patricia.¹ From 1985, her married name became Armstrong.¹ After her marriage, Mary Patricia Carlow was styled as Baroness Armstrong of Ilminster on 26 February 1988.

He married Marie-Anna Prinzessin zu Salm-Salm, daughter of Michael Alfred Wolfgang Dietrich Hendrik Antonius Maria Prinz zu Salm-Salm and Philippa Emma Gräfin zu Castell-Castell, on 4 August 2012 at Pfarrkirche St. Laurentius, Wallhausen, Germany.¹

     Kinga Edle von Poschinger was born on 11 July 1981. She is the daughter of Vollrad-Joachim Ritter und Edler von Poschinger and Maria del Pilar Erzherzogin von Österreich.

     Franziska Anne Dolores Baronin von Thyssen-Bornemisza was born on 7 June 1958.¹ She is the daughter of Hans Heinrich Baron von Thyssen-Bornemisza and Fiona Frances Elaine Campbell-Walter.¹ She married Karl Thomas Erzherzog von Österreich, son of Otto Erzherzog von Österreich and Regina Helene Elisabeth Margarete Prinzessin von Sachsen-Meiningen, on 31 January 1993.

     Eleonore Jelena Maria del Pilar Iona Erzherzogin von Österreich was born on 28 February 1994 at Salzburg, Austria^G. She is the daughter of Karl Thomas Erzherzog von Österreich and Franziska Anne Dolores Baronin von Thyssen-Bornemisza. She married Jérôme d‘Ambrosio, son of Henri d‘Ambrosio, on 20 July 2020 at Monaco.¹
     She gained the title of Erzherzogin von Österreich.

     Hon. Jane Orlanda Armstrong was born in 1954.¹ She is the daughter of Robert Temple Armstrong, Baron Armstrong of Ilminster and Serena Mary Benedicta Chance.¹ She married Joseph Wilfrid Whitlock-Blundell, son of Brian Mark Whitlock-Blundell and Hester Mary Blundell.²
     Her married name became Blundell.²

     Hon. Teresa Brigid Armstrong was born in 1957.¹ She is the daughter of Robert Temple Armstrong, Baron Armstrong of Ilminster and Serena Mary Benedicta Chance.¹ She married Simon Littlewood.²
