     Sir William Hugh Stobart Chance was born on 31 December 1896.² He was the son of George Ferguson Chance and Mary Kathleen Stobart.² He married, firstly, Cynthia May Baker-Cresswell, daughter of Major Addison Francis Baker-Cresswell and Idonea Widdrington, on 20 April 1926.² He and Cynthia May Baker-Cresswell were divorced in 1961.² He married, secondly, Rachel Cameron, daughter of Lieutenant Cyril Henry Cameron, on 3 February 1961.² He died in 1981.²

     Cecilia Mary Elizabeth Chance was born on 17 November 1928.¹ She was the daughter of Sir William Hugh Stobart Chance and Cynthia May Baker-Cresswell.² She married Sir George Jeremy ffolliott Chance, 4th Bt., son of Sir Roger James Ferguson Chance, 3rd Bt. and Mary Georgina Rowney, on 4 March 1950.² She died on 23 March 2015 at age 86.³
     She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)²

     Sir John Sebastian Chance, 5th Bt. was born in 1954.¹ He is the son of Sir George Jeremy ffolliott Chance, 4th Bt. and Cecilia Mary Elizabeth Chance.² He married Victoria Mary McClean, daughter of Dennis McClean, on 3 September 1977.¹
