     Tan Doris May Arnold is the daughter of Frederick J Arnold.² She married David Samuel Allsopp, son of Samuel Ranulph Allsopp and Hon. Norah Hyacinthe Littleton, on 22 October 1960.¹ She and David Samuel Allsopp were divorced in 1968.¹
     Elder.¹ Her married name became Allsopp.

     James Samuel Allsopp was born on 17 July 1972.¹ He is the son of David Samuel Allsopp and Sally Thirkell.²

     Melanie Angela Allsopp was born on 20 December 1977.¹ She is the daughter of David Samuel Allsopp and Sally Thirkell.²

     Juliet Modwena Allsopp was born on 30 December 1924.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Ranulph Allsopp and Hon. Norah Hyacinthe Littleton.² She married Samuel Arthur Scott, son of Sir Jervoise Bolitho Scott, 1st Bt. and Kathleen Isabel Walter, on 27 September 1952.¹ She died on 11 April 2004 at age 79.³
     From 27 September 1952, her married name became Scott.

     Margaret Euphemia Janet Charlotte Amelia Oliphant was born on 29 July 1770 at Gask, Perthshire, Scotland.² She was the daughter of Laurence Oliphant, 7th of Gask and Margaret Robertson.¹ She was baptised on 1 August 1770 at Episcopal Church, Muthill, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹ She married Sir Alexander Keith of Dunnottar, son of Sir Alexander Keith of Dunnottar and Christian Forbes, on 20 April 1811 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.^1,3 She died on 10 September 1847 at age 77.²
     From 20 April 1811, her married name became Keith.¹

     Samuel Arthur Scott was born on 17 June 1926.² He was the son of Sir Jervoise Bolitho Scott, 1st Bt. and Kathleen Isabel Walter.² He married Juliet Modwena Allsopp, daughter of Samuel Ranulph Allsopp and Hon. Norah Hyacinthe Littleton, on 27 September 1952.¹ He died on 16 October 2011 at age 85.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.² He gained the rank of officer between 1946 and 1948 in the 7th Queen’s Own Hussars.² He fought in the Korean War between 1950 and 1951.² He gained the rank of officer between 1951 and 1952 in the 21st SAS (Artists), Territorial Army.² He lived in 2003 at Thatched Cottage, East Tisted, Hampshire, England.²

     Jean Maxwell is the daughter of Sir Alexander Maxwell of Saughton and Janet Moodie.¹ She married Sir William Maxwell of Calderwood, 2nd Bt., son of Sir James Maxwell of Calderwood, 1st Bt. and Mary Coattes, before 9 November 1666.¹

     Colonel John Maxwell was the son of Sir James Maxwell of Calderwood and Lady Margaret Cuninghame.¹ He married Elizabeth Elphinstone, daughter of Sir James Elphinstone of Blythswood.¹ He died in 1650, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Battle of Dunbar.¹

     John Ranulph Allsopp was born on 12 January 1908.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Ranulph Allsopp and Margaret Whitbread.² He married Audrey Carteret Priaulx Fellows, daughter of Major E. G. Fellows, on 10 April 1934.¹ He died on 17 March 1943 at age 35 at North Africa, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was Honour Attaché to Brussels and Madrid.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Officer Training Corps and Grenadier Guards.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Audrey Carteret Priaulx Fellows is the daughter of Major E. G. Fellows.¹ She married, firstly, John Ranulph Allsopp, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Ranulph Allsopp and Margaret Whitbread, on 10 April 1934.¹ She married, secondly, Oliver van Oss on 29 July 1944.¹
     From 10 April 1934, her married name became Allsopp. From 29 July 1944, her married name became van Oss.¹
