     Sir Oswald Arthur Scott was born on 17 June 1893.¹ He was the son of Archibald Edward Scott and Cecilia Maria Bolitho.² He married, firstly, Hermione Monica Ferrand, daughter of William Ferrand, on 19 May 1917.¹ He and Hermione Monica Ferrand were divorced in 1933.¹ He married, secondly, Ursula Margaret Wolryche-Whitmore, daughter of Reverend Henry Bazeley Wolryche-Whitmore, on 3 January 1934.¹ He died on 19 May 1960 at age 66.¹
