     Hon. Lettice Hermione Violet Willoughby was the daughter of Henry Willoughby, 8th Baron Middleton of Middleton and Julia Louisa Bosville.^1,2 She married Colonel William Gordon-Cumming, son of Sir William Gordon Gordon-Cumming of Altyre, 2nd Bt. and Eliza Maria Campbell, on 18 April 1895.¹ She died on 9 August 1922.¹
     Her married name became Gordon-Cumming.

     Colonel William Gordon-Cumming was born on 2 June 1829.¹ He was the son of Sir William Gordon Gordon-Cumming of Altyre, 2nd Bt. and Eliza Maria Campbell.¹ He married, firstly, Alexa Angelica Harvey Brand, daughter of James Brand, on 18 June 1867.¹ He married, secondly, Hon. Lettice Hermione Violet Willoughby, daughter of Henry Willoughby, 8th Baron Middleton of Middleton and Julia Louisa Bosville, on 18 April 1895.¹ He died on 28 April 1908 at age 78, without issue.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Banff.¹ He held the office of Lieutenant-Colonel, Bombay Staff Corps.¹

     Hon. Mairi Myrtle Willoughby was born on 27 September 1859.² She was the daughter of Henry Willoughby, 8th Baron Middleton of Middleton and Julia Louisa Bosville.³ She married William Bethell, son of William Froggatt Bethell and Elizabeth Beckett-Denison, on 1 January 1880.¹ She died on 13 November 1900 at age 41.¹
     Her married name became Bethell.

     William Bethell was born in 1847 at Rise, Yorkshire, England^G.² He was the son of William Froggatt Bethell and Elizabeth Beckett-Denison. He married Hon. Mairi Myrtle Willoughby, daughter of Henry Willoughby, 8th Baron Middleton of Middleton and Julia Louisa Bosville, on 1 January 1880.³ He died on 13 August 1926.³
     He lived at Rise Park, Hull, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Hon. Elizabeth Nina Blake was born on 12 December 1830.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Henry Blake, 3rd Baron Wallscourt and Elizabeth Lock.¹ She married Lt.-Gen. Hon. James William Bosville Macdonald, son of Lt.-Gen. Godfrey Bosville Macdonald, 3rd Baron Macdonald of Slate and Louisa Maria la Coast, on 26 September 1859.¹ She died on 21 July 1890 at age 59.¹
     Her married name became Bosville Macdonald.

     Charles William Rollo was born on 4 April 1950. He is the son of Major Robert Duncan Rollo and Violet Augustine Stanhope.

     John Alexander Hope, 6th Earl of Hopetoun was born on 22 March 1831.¹ He was the son of John Hope, 5th Earl of Hopetoun and Louisa Bosville Macdonald.¹ He married Ethelred Anne Birch Reynardson, daughter of Charles Thomas Samuel Birch Reynardson, on 3 January 1860.¹ He died on 1 April 1873 at age 42.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Hopetoun [S., 1703] on 8 April 1843.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Niddry of Niddry, co. Linlithgow [U.K., 1814] on 8 April 1843.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Viscount of Aithrie [S., 1703] on 8 April 1843.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Lord Hope [S., 1703] on 8 April 1843.¹ He gained the rank of officer between 1851 and 1852 in the 1st Life Guards.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Linlithgowshire between 1863 and 1873.¹

     Somerled James Brudenell Bosville Macdonald, 5th Baron Macdonald of Slate was born on 2 October 1849 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of Godfrey William Wentworth Bosville Macdonald, 4th Baron Macdonald of Slate and Maria Anne Wyndham.¹ He died on 25 December 1874 at age 25 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G, unmarried.¹
     He was educated between 1863 and 1866 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Macdonald of Slate, co. Antrim [I., 1776] on 25 July 1863.¹

     Ronald Archibald Bosville Macdonald, 6th Baron Macdonald of Slate was born on 9 January 1853 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of Godfrey William Wentworth Bosville Macdonald, 4th Baron Macdonald of Slate and Maria Anne Wyndham.¹ He married Louisa Jane Hamilton Ross, daughter of Lt.-Col. George William Holmes Ross of Cromarty and Adelaide Lucy Davidson, on 1 October 1875 at The Cathedral, Inverness, Inverness-shire, Scotland^G.¹ He died on 20 January 1947 at age 94.²
