William Widdrington, 2nd Baron Widdrington1 
William Widdrington, 2nd Baron Widdrington was born in 1631.2 He was the son of William Widdrington, 1st Baron Widdrington of Blankney and Mary Thorold.2 He married Elizabeth Bertie, daughter of Sir Peregrine Bertie and Anne Hardeby, on 12 January 1654.1 He died in 1675.2
He gained the title of 2nd Baron Widdrington. He gained the rank of Colonel in 1660 in the Regiment of Foot Guards.2 He held the office of Governor of Berwick between 1660 and 1675.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1673 in the Hamilton’s Regiment.2
