John Lysaght, 2nd Baron Lisle of Mountnorth was born in 1729.1 He was the son of John Lysaght, 1st Baron Lisle of Mountnorth and Catharine Deane.1 He married Mary Anne Connor, daughter of George Conner, in 1778.2 He died on 9 January 1798 at Bristol, EnglandG.1
He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Castlemartyr between 1753 and 1760.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Cork in 1757.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cork between 1765 and 1768.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Lisle of Mountnorth, co. Cork [I., 1758] on 15 June 1781.3
