     Alexander Forbes, 4th Lord Forbes of Pitsligo was born on 24 May 1678.1 He was the son of Alexander Forbes, 3rd Lord Forbes of Pitsligo and Lady Sophia Erskine.2 He married, firstly, Rebecca Norton, daughter of John Norton, before 1713.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Allen circa 26 September 1731.1 He died on 21 December 1762 at age 84.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Lord Forbes of Pitsligo [S., 1633] in December 1690.1 He opposed the Union of England and Scottish Parliaments.1 He fought in the Jacobite Uprising in 1715.1 He fought in the Jacobite Uprising in 1745.1 In 1746 He was attainted, when his title and lands were forfeited.1

     John Forbes, Master of Pitsligo was born circa 1713.1 He was the son of Alexander Forbes, 4th Lord Forbes of Pitsligo and Rebecca Norton.2 He married Rebecca Ogilvie, daughter of James Ogilvie, 2nd of Auchiries and Margaret Strachan, on 2 August 1750.1 He died on 30 August 1781, without issue.1
     He was styled as Master of Pitsligo.1
