     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Monmouthshire in 1878.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Monmouthshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Monmouthshire.¹ He lived at Pont-y-Pool Park, Pont-y-Pool, Monmouthshire, Wales.¹

     Colonel Edward Hungerford Eagar was born in 1819.² He was the son of Francis Russell Eagar.² He married Elizabeth Kelly, daughter of Denis Kelly and Elizabeth Diana Cator, on 16 August 1854 at Athleague, County Roscommon, Ireland.²

     Louisa Charlotte Eagar was born circa 1866 at Tasmania, Australia.² She was the daughter of Colonel Edward Hungerford Eagar and Elizabeth Kelly.³ She married John Capel Hanbury, son of Capel Hanbury-Leigh and Emma Elizabeth Rous, in 1885 at St. George Hanove Square, London, England.^1,2 She died in 1927.¹
     From 1885, her married name became Hanbury.

     Capel Lionel Charles Hanbury was born on 1 October 1893.¹ He was the son of John Capel Hanbury and Louisa Charlotte Eagar.² He died on 9 August 1908 at age 14.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹

     Ruth Julia Margarette Hanbury was born on 16 February 1903.¹ She is the daughter of John Capel Hanbury and Louisa Charlotte Eagar.² She married Major Gerald Evan Farquhar Tenison, son of Colonel William Tenison, on 18 December 1923.¹
     From 18 December 1923, her married name became Tenison.
