     Findla ‘Mor’ Farquharson, 1st of Invercauld was the son of Donald Farquharson and Isobel Stewart.2 He married, firstly, unknown daughter Stewart, daughter of unknown Stewart of Kincardine.1 He married, secondly, Beatrix Gardyne of that Ilk, daughter of George Gardyne of Gardyne and Banchory.1 He died in 1547, killed in action.1
     He lived at Invercauld, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.1 He fought in the Battle of Pinkie in 1547, as the King’s Standard Bearer.1 He also had five daughters by his second wife.1
