John Farquharson, 4th of Invercauld was the son of Robert Farquharson of Invercauld and of Rivernie and Marjorie Robertson.2 He married Margaret Barclay, daughter of Walter Barclay of Gartly.1 He died in 1632.1
He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 15 July 1607.1
