     Dora Mary Loraine Stopford was the daughter of Rear-Admiral Hon. Walter George Stopford and Florence Mary Baker.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Francis Lothian Nicholson, son of General Sir Lothian Nicholson and Hon. Mary Romilly, on 1 July 1922.¹ She died on 8 October 1923.¹
