     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded twice.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1917.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was a merchant banker.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1945.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Institute of Bankers (F.I.B.)¹ He lived at Slough House, Danbury, Essex, England^G.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1964.¹

     Sir Reginald James Neville Neville, 1st Bt. was born on 22 February 1863 at Bombay, India.² He was the son of James Sewell Neville and Emelyn Anna Stogdon.³ He married, firstly, Ida Henderson, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Edmund Yeamans Walcott Henderson, in 1890.³ He married, secondly, Violet Sophia Mary Baines, daughter of Lt.-Col. Cuthbert Johnson Baines, in 1920.² He died on 28 April 1950 at age 87.²

Norfolk [U.K.] on 2 July 1927.³ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1948 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)³

     Beatrice Helen Angela Neville was born in 1894.² She was the daughter of Sir Reginald James Neville Neville, 1st Bt. and Ida Henderson.^3,2 She married Lt.-Col. John Victor Openshaw Macartney-Filgate, son of Colonel Edward John Patrick FitzGerald Macartney-Filgate and Bertha Eugenie Lomax, on 16 December 1920.¹
     Beatrice Helen Angela Neville usually went by her middle name of Angela.¹ From 16 December 1920, her married name became Macartney-Filgate. She lived in 1976 at Slough House, Danbury, Essex, England^G.¹

     Patrick John Macartney-Filgate was born on 4 March 1923.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Victor Openshaw Macartney-Filgate and Beatrice Helen Angela Neville.² He married, firstly, Deborah De Falco Dresser, daughter of Ivan Dresser, on 12 January 1946.¹ He and Deborah De Falco Dresser were divorced in 1963.¹ He married, secondly, Nancy Ellen Schuster, daughter of Charles Schuster, on 1 May 1966.¹ He died on 16 September 1969 at age 46.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was educated on 12 January 1946 Rugby, m Deborah De Falco, dau of Ivan Dresser, of New York, USA issue.¹ He adopted Michael Graham Travers Macartney-Filgate.¹
