Sir James Edmund Henderson Neville, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Edmund.1 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919, where he was wounded twice.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Neville, of Sloley, co. Norfolk [U.K., 1927] on 28 April 1950.1
