     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1941 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.¹ He fought in the Second World War, in Burma.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1948 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Neville, of Sloley, co. Norfolk [U.K., 1927] on 24 June 1982.² On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.²

     Marie Louise Pierson is the daughter of Charles Emmanuel Pierson.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Sir James Edmund Henderson Neville, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Reginald James Neville Neville, 1st Bt. and Ida Henderson, on 5 April 1932.¹
     From 5 April 1932, her married name became Neville.¹

     Charles Emmanuel Pierson lived at Vale Lodge, Weston, Bath, Somerset, England.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Rosalind Angela Mary Neville was born on 23 February 1933.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir James Edmund Henderson Neville, 2nd Bt. and Marie Louise Pierson.¹ She married Philip Murray Gorton, son of Reverend John Percival Page Gorton, on 3 July 1954.¹
