     Nella Doreen Dutton was born on 14 December 1920.² She was the daughter of M. Dutton.¹ She married David George Montagu Hay, 12th Marquess of Tweeddale, son of Maj.-Gen. Lord Edward Douglas John Hay and Violet Florence Catherine Barclay, on 14 January 1959.¹ She died on 26 May 2004 at age 83.^1,2 She was buried at Suie Burial Ground, Bunessan, Isle of Mull, Scotland.²
     Nella Doreen Dutton also went by the nick-name of Dee.² She gained the rank of Sergeant between 1939 and 1945 in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force.¹ Her married name became Hay. After her marriage, Nella Doreen Dutton was styled as Marchioness of Tweeddale on 30 March 1967.

     David George Montagu Hay, 12th Marquess of Tweeddale was born on 25 October 1921.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Lord Edward Douglas John Hay and Violet Florence Catherine Barclay.¹ He married, firstly, Hon. Sonia Mary Peake, daughter of Osbert Peake, 1st Viscount Ingleby and Lady Joan Rachel de Vere Capell, on 26 October 1946.¹ He and Hon. Sonia Mary Peake were divorced in 1958.¹ He married, secondly, Nella Doreen Dutton, daughter of M. Dutton, on 14 January 1959.¹ He died on 23 January 1979 at age 57.¹

Lord Edward Douglas John Hay and Violet Florence Catherine Barclay, on 26 October 1946.² She and David George Montagu Hay, 12th Marquess of Tweeddale were divorced in 1958.² She married, secondly, Major Michael William Vernon Hammond-Maude, son of Gerald William Edward Hammond-Maude, in 1966.² She died on 30 July 2009 at age 84.³
     She was with the Women’s Royal Naval Service.² From 26 October 1946, her married name became Hay. From 1966, her married name became Hammond-Maude.

     Osbert Peake, 1st Viscount Ingleby was born on 30 December 1897.¹ He was the son of Major George Herbert Peake and Evelyn Mary Dundas.² He married Lady Joan Rachel de Vere Capell, daughter of George Devereux de Vere Capell, 7th Earl of Essex and Adela Grant, on 19 June 1922.² He died on 11 October 1966 at age 68.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1919 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1923 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      Lady Joan Rachel de Vere Capell was born on 28 February 1899.¹ She was the daughter of George Devereux de Vere Capell, 7th Earl of Essex and Adela Grant.³ She married Osbert Peake, 1st Viscount Ingleby, son of Major George Herbert Peake and Evelyn Mary Dundas, on 19 June 1922.¹ She died in 1979.¹
     She was educated at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ Her married name became Peake. After her marriage, Lady Joan Rachel de Vere Capell was styled as Viscountess Ingleby on 17 January 1956.

     George Devereux de Vere Capell, 7th Earl of Essex was born on 24 October 1857 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Arthur de Vere Capell, Viscount Malden and Emma Martha Meux.² He married, firstly, Ellenor Harriet Maria Harford, daughter of William Henry Harford and Ellen Tower, on 12 July 1882 at London, England^G.¹ He married, secondly, Adela Grant, daughter of Beach Grant, on 14 December 1893 at London, England^G.¹ He died on 25 September 1916 at age 58 at Stanley House, Newmarket, Suffolk, England^G.
     He gained the rank of officer in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Viscount Malden, co.      After her marriage, Adela Grant was styled as Countess of Essex on 14 December 1893. From 14 December 1893, her married name became Capell.

     Lady Iris Mary Athenais de Vere Capell was born on 8 June 1895.¹ She was the daughter of George Devereux de Vere Capell, 7th Earl of Essex and Adela Grant.² She died on 4 October 1977 at age 82, unmarried.¹
