     Lt.-Col. Arthur de Vere Capell, Viscount Malden was born on 22 July 1826 at London, England^G.² He was the son of Arthur Algernon Capell, 6th Earl of Essex and Lady Caroline Janetta Beauclerk.³ He married Emma Martha Meux, daughter of Sir Henry Meux, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mary Smith, on 23 January 1853 at London, England^G.² He died on 10 March 1879 at age 52 at London, England^G.²
     He was styled as Viscount Malden between 1839 and 1879.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Horse Guards.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Hertfordshire Yeomanry Cavalry.²

     Emma Martha Meux was the daughter of Sir Henry Meux, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mary Smith.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Arthur de Vere Capell, Viscount Malden, son of Arthur Algernon Capell, 6th Earl of Essex and Lady Caroline Janetta Beauclerk, on 23 January 1853 at London, England^G.² She died on 22 November 1905 at London, England^G.²
     Her married name became Capell.

     Sir Henry Meux, 1st Bt. was the son of Richard Meux and Mary Brougham. He married Elizabeth Mary Smith, daughter of Thomas Smith.²
     He lived at Theobald’s Park, Hampshire, England^G. He gained the title of 1st Baronet Meux, of Theobald’s Park, Hampshire.

     Lt.-Col. Cuthbert Henry Dawnay was born on 4 November 1891.¹ He was the son of Hon. Eustace Henry Dawnay and Lady Evelyn de Vere Capell.¹ He married Marjorie Kathleen Loder, daughter of Reginald Bernhard Loder and Lady Margaret Ernestine Augusta Hare, on 10 November 1921.¹ He died on 18 March 1964 at age 72.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Yorkshire Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the East Riding, Yorkshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the East Riding, Yorkshire.¹

     Gerald Arthur Millar was born on 31 August 1895.¹ He is the son of Charles Christian Hoyer Millar and Beatrix du Maurier.² He married Ruth Cock, daughter of Charles Hornblower Cock, on 8 April 1920.¹ He died in 1975.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He fought in the First World War. He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.¹ He lived at Little Sampford, Saffron Walden, Essex, England^G.

     Eve Margaret Dawnay was born on 26 October 1926.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Cuthbert Henry Dawnay and Marjorie Kathleen Loder.¹ She died on 9 December 2010 at age 84, unmarried.²
     She was educated at Queen Margaret’s School, Castle Howard, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ She graduated from Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1948 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ She lived in 2003 at West Heslerton Hall, Malton, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Delia Mary Dawnay was born on 18 January 1931.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Cuthbert Henry Dawnay and Marjorie Kathleen Loder.¹ She married Sir Oliver Nicholas Millar, son of Gerald Arthur Millar and Ruth Cock, on 21 January 1954.¹
     She was educated at Queen Margaret’s School, Castle Howard, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ She graduated from Courtauld Institute of Art, The Strand, London, England^G, in 1953 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ Her married name became Millar. She was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1996.¹ She lived in 2003 at The Cottage, Rays Lane, Penn, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Cynthia Mary Millar was born on 5 June 1956.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Oliver Nicholas Millar and Delia Mary Dawnay.¹

     Lucy Anne Millar was born on 17 September 1958.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Oliver Nicholas Millar and Delia Mary Dawnay.¹ She married, firstly, John E. L. Porter in 1977.¹ She and Barnaby John Dickens were divorced in 1982.¹ She married, secondly, Barnaby John Dickens on 13 October 1983.¹
     From 1977, her married name became Porter.¹ From 13 October 1983, her married name became Dickens.¹

     Beatrix Jane Millar was born on 4 June 1961.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Oliver Nicholas Millar and Delia Mary Dawnay.¹ She married Peter Andrew Flory in 1987.¹
     From 1987, her married name became Flory.¹
