     Henrietta Browne-Clayton was born in 1831.² She was the daughter of Richard Clayton Browne-Clayton and Catherine Jane Dobson.² She married Robert Thomas Carew, son of Thomas Carew and Jane Alcock, on 28 July 1859.¹ She died on 8 June 1884.¹
     From 28 July 1859, her married name became Carew.

     Lt.-Col. Robert Thomas Carew was born on 22 May 1860.¹ He was the son of Robert Thomas Carew and Henrietta Browne-Clayton.² He married, firstly, Constance Charlotte Mary Creagh, daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Creagh, on 4 August 1887.² He married, secondly, Mary O’Gorman, daughter of Major Purcell O’Gorman, on 30 October 1905.¹ He died on 11 February 1917 at age 56.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Rifle Brigade.¹ He gained the rank of Major andHonorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the Waterford Artillery South Division, Royal Artillery.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Waterford.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Waterford.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Waterford in 1891.¹ He lived at Ballinamona, County Waterford, Ireland^G.¹

     Commander Richard Clayton Carew was born on 20 August 1861.¹ He was the son of Robert Thomas Carew and Henrietta Browne-Clayton.² He married, firstly, Catherine Elizabeth Croker, daughter of Captain Edward Croker, on 14 April 1891.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Amelia Jervois, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Jervois, on 10 June 1913.¹ He died on 21 April 1937 at age 75.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Ballindud, County Waterford, Ireland^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Reginald Lionel Otho Carew was born on 10 January 1892.¹ He was the son of Commander Richard Clayton Carew and Catherine Elizabeth Croker.^2,1 He married Granuaile Katherine Peyton, daughter of Major Westropp Joseph Peyton and Eleanor Fenton, on 27 April 1933.¹
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He lived in 1976 at Mount Pleasant, Helen’s Bay, County Down, Ireland^G.¹

     Major Westropp Joseph Peyton was born on 1 May 1860.² He was the son of Henry Alfred Peyton and Ida Hamilton.² He married Eleanor Fenton, daughter of Colonel unknown Fenton, in 1899.² He died on 4 January 1903 at age 42.²
     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)² He gained the rank of Major in the Indian Army.²

     Granuaile Katherine Peyton was born in 1900.² She is the daughter of Major Westropp Joseph Peyton and Eleanor Fenton.^3,2 She married Lt.-Col. Reginald Lionel Otho Carew, son of Commander Richard Clayton Carew and Catherine Elizabeth Croker, on 27 April 1933.¹
     From 27 April 1933, her married name became Carew.

     Gerald Westropp Carew was born on 4 February 1936.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Reginald Lionel Otho Carew and Granuaile Katherine Peyton.² He married Gyrna Elizabeth Rice, daughter of Clayton Ewart John Rice, on 26 June 1971.¹
     He was educated at Portora Royal School, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Ireland^G.¹ He was educated at Queen’s University, Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹ He was Assistant Provincial Conservation & Extension Officer.¹ He lived in 2003 at Emerald Hill, Harare, Zimbabwe^G.¹

     Gyrna Elizabeth Rice is the daughter of Clayton Ewart John Rice.² She married Gerald Westropp Carew, son of Lt.-Col. Reginald Lionel Otho Carew and Granuaile Katherine Peyton, on 26 June 1971.¹
     From 26 June 1971, her married name became Carew.
