     Lt.-Col. Julius Francis Chenevix Trench was born on 2 November 1885.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Frederick Chenevix Trench and Mary Frederica Blanche Mulville.¹ He married Winifred Mary Frances Shirley, daughter of Sewallis Evelyn Shirley and Emily Jean Macdonald, on 21 October 1929.¹ He died on 15 January 1948 at age 62, without issue.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Brevet-Major.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹ He fought in the Mesopotamia Campaign in 1920, where he won a medal and clasp.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Berwickshire.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1944.¹

     A/Cdre. Anthony John Chetwynd Balfour was born on 10 November 1926.¹ He was the son of Hon. Harry Robert Chichester Balfour and Dorothy Constance Chetwynd.¹ He married, firstly, Judith Ann Margaret Anderson, daughter of Leslie Field Anderson, on 15 September 1958.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Katherine Martin Lindsay, daughter of Frederick Richard Lindsay, on 28 October 2001.¹ He died on 21 September 2014 at age 87.²

     Judith Ann Margaret Anderson was the daughter of Leslie Field Anderson.¹ She married A/Cdre. Anthony John Chetwynd Balfour, son of Hon. Harry Robert Chichester Balfour and Dorothy Constance Chetwynd, on 15 September 1958.¹ She died on 22 May 1998.¹
     Her married name became Balfour.

     Leslie Field Anderson lived at Worthing, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Peter John Torquil Balfour was born on 14 July 1959.¹ He is the son of A/Cdre. Anthony John Chetwynd Balfour and Judith Ann Margaret Anderson.¹ He married, firstly, Nicola Jane Yarwood, daughter of David Charles Yarwood, in 1985.¹ He and Nicola Jane Yarwood were divorced in 1989.¹ He married, secondly, Patricia Dawson, daughter of Jerome Dawson, in 1994.¹ He and Patricia Dawson were divorced in 1995.¹

     Elizabeth Balfour was born on 18 December 1922.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Harry Robert Chichester Balfour and Dorothy Constance Chetwynd.¹ She died on 24 December 1922.¹

     Madeline Maude Graham Watson was born circa 1881.¹ She was the daughter of James Graham Watson.¹ She married Hon. James Moncreiffe Balfour, son of John Blair Balfour, 1st Baron Kinross and Hon. Marianne Eliza Moncreiff, on 27 June 1908.¹ She died on 5 October 1970.¹
     Her married name became Balfour.
