John Keith, 3rd Earl of Kintore1 
John Keith, 3rd Earl of Kintore was baptised on 21 May 1699.1 He was the son of William Keith, 2nd Earl of Kintore and Hon. Catherine Murray.3 A contract for the marriage of John Keith, 3rd Earl of Kintore and Mary Erskine was signed on 21 August 1729.1 He died on 22 November 1758 at age 59, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Keith of Inverurie and Keith Hall [S., 1677] on 5 December 1718.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Kintore [S., 1677] on 5 December 1718.1 He held the office of Knight Marischal of Scotland in 1733.1

After her marriage, Mary Erskine was styled as Countess of Kintore on 21 August 1729. From 21 August 1729, her married name became Keith.
William Keith, 4th Earl of Kintore1 
He succeeded as the 4th Lord Keith of Inverurie and Keith Hall [S., 1677] on 22 November 1758.1 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Kintore [S., 1677] on 22 November 1758.1 On his death his titles became dormant till the 9th Earl of Mariscahl’s death in May 1778, when they ceased to be affected by the attainder of 1716.1
