     Kathleen Dawes was born on 3 February 1897 at Southwark, London, England^G.² She was the daughter of W. H. Dawes.¹ She married William Angus Drogo Montagu, 9th Duke of Manchester, son of George Victor Drogo Montagu, 8th Duke of Manchester and Francisca Maria de la Consolacion Yznaga, on 17 December 1931.¹ She died on 28 March 1966 at age 69.¹
     After her marriage, Kathleen Dawes was styled as Duchess of Manchester on 17 December 1931. From 17 December 1931, her married name became Montagu.¹

     Lord Edward Eugene Fernando Montagu was born on 26 July 1906.¹ He was the son of William Angus Drogo Montagu, 9th Duke of Manchester and Helena Zimmerman.¹ He married, firstly, Norah Macfarlane Potter, daughter of Albert Edward Potter, on 10 August 1929.¹ He and Norah Macfarlane Potter were divorced in 1937.¹ He married, secondly, Dorothy Vera Peters on 28 August 1937.¹ He and Dorothy Vera Peters were divorced in 1947.¹ He married, thirdly, Martha Matthews Hatton Bowen in 1947.¹ He married, fourthly, Baroness Cora Kellie in August 1952.¹ He married, fifthly, Roberta Herold Joughlin in August 1952.¹ He died on 4 May 1954 at age 47.¹

     From 10 August 1929, her married name became Montagu.¹

     From 28 August 1937, her married name became Montagu.¹

     Martha Matthews Hatton Bowen married Lord Edward Eugene Fernando Montagu, son of William Angus Drogo Montagu, 9th Duke of Manchester and Helena Zimmerman, in 1947.¹ She died on 5 February 1951.¹
