     Brig.-Gen. Hon. Everard Humphrey Wyndham was born on 4 December 1888.² He was the son of Henry Wyndham, 2nd Baron Leconfield of Leconfield and Lady Constance Evelyn Primrose.^1,2 He married Ruth Constance Astley, daughter of Reverend Hubert Delaval Astley and Constance Edith Corbet, on 14 April 1920.¹ He died in 1970.²
     Brig.-Gen. Hon. Everard Humphrey Wyndham usually went by his middle name of Humphrey.² He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1919.² He was Colonel of the Life Guards.² He was AAG of the Northern Command between 1937 and 1940.¹ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM George VI between 1938 and 1942.² He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1940 in the General Staff, War Office.² He retired from the military in 1942.²

     Hon. Henry Jacob Astley was born on 2 March 1867.¹ He was the son of Sir Delaval Loftus Astley, 18th Lord Hastings and Hon. Frances Diana Manners-Sutton.¹ He married Sybil Fountaine, daughter of Charles George Fountaine, on 8 July 1891.¹ He died on 25 August 1909 at age 42, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Suffolk Yeomanry Cavalry.¹
