H. G. Wheeler, in 1959.¹ He and Rosemary Ann Wheeler were divorced in 1970.¹ He married, secondly, Patricia Mary MacPherson, daughter of W. A. MacPherson, in 1972.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹ He lived in 2003 at Hatton House, Leven, Fife, Scotland^G.¹

     Francis William Sutton was born in 1856 at Reading, Berkshire, England.¹ He was the son of Alfred Sutton and Ellen Stokes.¹ He married Isabel Newton Ellis, daughter of William Robert Ellis and Harriet Warner Elliott, in 1884 at Barnstaple, Devon, England.¹ He died in 1939.¹
     He was a surgeon.¹

     Fiona Anne Leng was born in 1954.² She is the daughter of Christopher Anthony William Leng and Patricia Lillywhite.² She married Nicholas Charles Gilmour Marshall, son of Major Philip Donald Howitt Marshall and Doris Pamela Yvonne Gilmour, in 1988.¹

     Douglas James Gilmour Marshall was born in 1990.¹ He is the son of Nicholas Charles Gilmour Marshall and Fiona Anne Leng.²

     Louisa Rebecca Legge was born in 1977.¹ She is the daughter of Christopher David Legge and Sarah Gilmour Marshall.²

     Octavia Christina Legge was born in 1980.¹ She is the daughter of Christopher David Legge and Sarah Gilmour Marshall.² She married Thomas Charles Townshend, Viscount Raynham, son of Charles George Townshend, 8th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Hermione Ponsonby, in 2011.³
     From 2011, her married name became Townshend.³
