     Hermione Ponsonby was born on 23 January 1945.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Robert Martin Dominic Ponsonby and Dorothy Edith Jane Lane.¹ She married, firstly, J. C. Evans before 1975.² She married, secondly, Charles George Townshend, 8th Marquess Townshend of Raynham, son of George John Patrick Dominic Townshend, 7th Marquess Townshend of Raynham and Elizabeth Pamela Audrey Luby, on 9 October 1975.¹ She died in 1985, in a motor accident.¹
     From before 1975, her married name became Evans.² From 9 October 1975, her married name became Townshend.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Frederick William Ponsonby was born on 30 April 1917.¹ He was the son of Sir George Arthur Ponsonby and Julia Winifred Maitland Oldfield.¹ He died on 20 October 1950 at age 33 at Setuban, Portugal^G, accidentally drowned.¹
     He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Rosamond Mary Ponsonby was born on 17 December 1906.¹ She was the daughter of Sir George Arthur Ponsonby and Julia Winifred Maitland Oldfield.¹ She married Oliver Peter Haig, son of Colonel Oliver Haig, on 10 May 1930.¹ She died in 1985.²
     Her married name became Haig.

     Oliver Peter Haig was born in 1908. He was the son of Colonel Oliver Haig.¹ He married Rosamond Mary Ponsonby, daughter of Sir George Arthur Ponsonby and Julia Winifred Maitland Oldfield, on 10 May 1930.¹ He died on 13 May 1987.¹
     Oliver Peter Haig usually went by his middle name of Peter.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹

     Elisa Broch is the daughter of Captain Hendrick Andreas Broch.¹ She married Sir George Arthur Ponsonby, son of Robert Charles Ponsonby and Mary Maclachlan, on 26 July 1921.¹
     Her married name became Ponsonby. She held the office of Lady-in-Waiting to HM Queen Maud of Norway.¹

     Maud Elisabeth Ponsonby was born on 29 April 1922.¹ She was the daughter of Sir George Arthur Ponsonby and Elisa Broch.¹ She married Lt.-Cdr. William Hutton-Attenborough, son of Edwin Augustus Hutton-Attenborough, on 24 August 1957.¹ She died on 4 December 2009 at age 87.²
     Her married name became Hutton-Attenborough. She lived in 2003 at 32 Maidenhead Road, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. William Hutton-Attenborough was born circa 1919.² He was the son of Edwin Augustus Hutton-Attenborough.¹ He married Maud Elisabeth Ponsonby, daughter of Sir George Arthur Ponsonby and Elisa Broch, on 24 August 1957.¹ He died on 25 September 2006 at Arden Valley, Bearley, England.^3,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹
