     Susan Alexandra Ashmore was born on 12 December 1943.² She is the daughter of Admiral Sir Edward Beckwith Ashmore and Elizabeth Mary Doveton Sturdee.^3,4 She married Sir Francis John Badcock Sykes, 10th Bt., son of Sir Francis Godfrey Sykes, 9th Bt. and Eira Betty Badcock, on 30 April 1966.¹
     From 30 April 1966, her married name became Sykes.

     Sir Francis Charles Sykes, 11th Bt. was born on 18 June 1968.¹ He is the son of Sir Francis John Badcock Sykes, 10th Bt. and Susan Alexandra Ashmore.²
     He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Sykes, of Basildon, Berks [G.B., 1781] on 15 October 2020.

     Edward William Sykes was born on 14 August 1970.¹ He is the son of Sir Francis John Badcock Sykes, 10th Bt. and Susan Alexandra Ashmore.² He married Dr. Lorna Mary Bagshaw, daughter of John Alan Bagshaw, in 2009.³

     Alexander Henry Ashmore Sykes was born on 25 February 1974.¹ He is the son of Sir Francis John Badcock Sykes, 10th Bt. and Susan Alexandra Ashmore.² He married Cara Rachel Hunt, daughter of Harold Hunt, in 2006.³
