     Lady Susanna Hamilton was born on 26 July 1657 at Tyninghame, East Lothian, Scotland.² She was the daughter of John Hamilton, 4th Earl of Haddington and Lady Christian Lindsay.¹ She married Adam Cockburn, Lord Ormiston, son of John Cockburn of Ormiston and Janet Hepburne, on 13 March 1679.¹
     From 13 March 1679, her married name became Cockburn.¹

     Anne Houstoun was the daughter of Sir Patrick Houstoun of that Ilk, 1st Bt. and Ana Hamilton.¹ She married, firstly, Sir James Inglis of Cramond, 1st Bt., son of John Inglis, on 31 October 1682 at Cramond, Midlothian, Scotland.² She married, secondly, William Hamilton on 30 September 1700.² She married, thirdly, Adam Cockburn, Lord Ormiston, son of John Cockburn of Ormiston and Janet Hepburne, on 12 September 1706 at Ormiston, East Lothian, Scotland.^1,2 She died on 18 January 1721.²
     From 31 October 1682, her married name became Inglis. From 30 September 1700, her married name became Hamilton.² From 12 September 1706, her married name became Cockburn.¹

     Hon. Thomas Hamilton was born on 23 September 1758.¹ He was the son of Thomas Hamilton, 7th Earl of Haddington and Mary Holt.¹ He died on 1 August 1774 at age 15.¹

     Lady Charlotte Hamilton was born circa 1793.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Hamilton, 7th Earl of Haddington and Anne Gascoigne.¹ She died on 3 May 1793.¹

     Hugh John Baillie was born on 28 April 1838 at Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Rev. Hon. John Baillie and Cecilia Mary Hawkins.¹ He married, firstly, Sarah Heather, daughter of J. F. Heather, on 15 September 1873.¹ He married, secondly, Maria Wallace, daughter of William Nevin Wallace, on 6 February 1902.¹ He died in 1923.¹

     Sarah Heather was the daughter of J. F. Heather.¹ She married Hugh John Baillie, son of Rev. Hon. John Baillie and Cecilia Mary Hawkins, on 15 September 1873.¹ She died on 3 August 1890.¹
     From 15 September 1873, her married name became Baillie.¹

     John Cecil George Baillie was born on 10 May 1888.¹ He was the son of Hugh John Baillie and Sarah Heather.¹

     Maria Wallace is the daughter of William Nevin Wallace.¹ She married, firstly, Donald Ross before 1902.¹ She married, secondly, Hugh John Baillie, son of Rev. Hon. John Baillie and Cecilia Mary Hawkins, on 6 February 1902.¹
     From before 1902, her married name became Ross.¹ From 6 February 1902, her married name became Baillie.¹

     William Nevin Wallace lived at Downpatrick, County Down, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹
