     Sir Patrick Houstoun of that Ilk, 1st Bt. was born circa 1635.2 He was the son of Sir Ludovic Houstoun of Houstoun and Margaret Maxwell.2 He married Ana Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton, 1st Lord Bargany and Lady Jean Douglas.2 He died in 1696.2
     He was created 1st Baronet Houstoun on 29 February 1668.

     From 22 June 1782, her married name became de Mounteney.1
