     Rosemary Jane Abel Smith was born on 1 March 1936.¹ She is the daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir Edward Michael Conolly Abel Smith and Lady Mary Elizabeth Carnegie.¹ She married Robert Wolrige Gordon, 10th of Esslemont and 21st of Hallhead, son of Robert Wolrige Gordon, 9th of Esslemont and 20th of Hallhead and Joan Walter, on 11 July 1956.¹
     She was educated at Downham School, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ From 11 July 1956, her married name became Wolrige Gordon.¹ She was Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) (see BLG SMITH of Longhills) in 1965.² She lived in 2003 at Tillydrone House, 12 The Chanonry, Old Aberdeen, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Robert Wolrige Gordon, 10th of Esslemont and 21st of Hallhead was born on 20 September 1928.² He was the son of Robert Wolrige Gordon, 9th of Esslemont and 20th of Hallhead and Joan Walter.² He married Rosemary Jane Abel Smith, daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir Edward Michael Conolly Abel Smith and Lady Mary Elizabeth Carnegie, on 11 July 1956.¹ He died on 13 January 1995 at age 66.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² He retired from the military in 1959, with the rank of Captain, late of the Grenadier Guards.² He held the office of Member of the Aberdeenshire County Council in 1962.² He held the office of Member of Grampian Regional County Council.²

     Charles Iain Robert Wolrige Gordon, 11th of Esslemont and 22nd of Hallhead was born on 19 June 1961.¹ He is the son of Robert Wolrige Gordon, 10th of Esslemont and 21st of Hallhead and Rosemary Jane Abel Smith.² He married Angela Clare Frisby, daughter of Simon Rollo Frisby and Sara Belinda Fox, on 20 September 1988.¹
     He was educated at Milton Abbey School, Milton Abbas, Dorset, England^G.¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 23 May 1976.¹ He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at Esslemont, Ellon, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Sally Mary Watney was born in 2002 at Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G.¹ She is the daughter of Michael Hugh Sanders Watney and Louise Winsborough.¹

     Philip Anthony Watney was born in 2004 at Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He is the son of Michael Hugh Sanders Watney and Louise Winsborough.¹

     Allison Joy Langer was born on 22 May 1974.¹ She is the daughter of Gary Langer.¹ She married Charles Peregrine Courtenay, 19th Earl of Devon, son of Hugh Rupert Courtenay, 18th Earl of Devon and Dianna Frances Watherston.¹
     Her married name became Courtenay.¹ She was an actress.¹

     Lady Joscelyn Skye Courtenay was born on 31 January 2007 at Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.^G.¹ She is the daughter of Charles Peregrine Courtenay, 19th Earl of Devon and Allison Joy Langer.¹
