     Frances Carew Clarke was the daughter of John Were Clarke and Frances Carew.¹ She married Reverend Arthur Dene in 1842. She died in 1904.
     From 1842, her married name became Dene.

     Reverend Arthur Dene married Frances Carew Clarke, daughter of John Were Clarke and Frances Carew, in 1842. He died in 1870.

     Russell Frank Bowlby was born on 12 September 1890.¹ He was the son of Thomas William Salvin Bowlby and Alice Antonina Nelson.¹ He married Mary Dene, daughter of Reverend John Dene and Katherine Twysden Molesworth, on 9 January 1918 at Horwood House, Bideford, Devon, England^G.¹ He died in 1980.
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a Barrister in Law.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He lived in 1965 at Griffe Station Road, Tring, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Nicholas Salvin Bowlby was born on 3 October 1949 at Hanover, Germany^G.¹ He is the son of Major George Molesworth Salvin Bowlby and Anne Pauline Thoburn McGaw.¹ He married Rosalind Margaret Bell on 30 June 1979.
     He was a fine art dealer.

     Thomas William Salvin Bowlby was born on 3 February 1854 at Little Thurrock, Essex, England^G.¹ He was the son of Reverend Edward Bowlby and Caroline Randall.¹ He married Alice Antonina Nelson, daughter of Reverend Edward Hamilton Nelson and Antonina Eliza Peacock, on 12 January 1887 at Marylebone, London, England^G.¹ He died on 12 June 1925 at age 71.¹
     He was a practising Solicitor.¹

     Alice Antonina Nelson was born on 14 March 1854.² She was the daughter of Reverend Edward Hamilton Nelson and Antonina Eliza Peacock.¹ She married Thomas William Salvin Bowlby, son of Reverend Edward Bowlby and Caroline Randall, on 12 January 1887 at Marylebone, London, England^G.¹ She died on 28 October 1939 at age 85.¹
     From 12 January 1887, her married name became Bowlby.

     Reverend Edward Bowlby was born on 12 June 1795 at Houghton-le-Spring, County Durham, England^G.² He was the son of Reverend Thomas Bowlby and Eleanora Elizabeth Salvin.¹ He married, firstly, Hannah Hodgson, daughter of Thomas Hodgson, on 27 June 1829.¹ He married, secondly, Caroline Randall, daughter of William Randall, on 10 January 1833 at Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He died on 25 June 1860 at age 65. He was buried at Little Thurrock, Essex, England^G.
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 4th King’s Own Regiment.¹ He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Caroline Randall was the daughter of William Randall.¹ She married Reverend Edward Bowlby, son of Reverend Thomas Bowlby and Eleanora Elizabeth Salvin, on 10 January 1833 at Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ She died on 25 July 1905.¹ She was buried at Cuckfield, Sussex, England^G.
     From 10 January 1833, her married name became Bowlby.

     Reverend Edward Hamilton Nelson was born in 1817 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G. He married Antonina Eliza Peacock, daughter of Mark Beauchamp Peacock and Antonina Peacock, in 1850.
     He was the Vicar at St. Stephens, Avenue Road, London, England^G.¹
