     Hannah Hodgson was the daughter of Thomas Hodgson.¹ She married Reverend Edward Bowlby, son of Reverend Thomas Bowlby and Eleanora Elizabeth Salvin, on 27 June 1829.¹ She died on 1 January 1831.¹
     From 27 June 1829, her married name became Bowlby.¹

     Fanny Sarah Alicia Katherine White was the daughter of Captain Edward Richard White.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Charles William Bowlby, son of Reverend Charles Edward Bowlby and Sophia Louisa Sargeaunt, on 4 November 1885.¹ She died on 27 March 1934.¹
     From 4 November 1885, her married name became Bowlby.¹

     Adelbert Charles Edward Salvin Bowlby was born on 20 October 1886 at Templemore, County Tipperary, Ireland.^1,2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Charles William Bowlby and Fanny Sarah Alicia Katherine White.¹ He married Frances Leader, daughter of Richard Radley Leader, on 28 March 1910.¹ He died on 29 July 1974 at age 87 at Bantry, County Cork, Ireland.²
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Flying Corps.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Leinster Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex in 1933.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1945.¹ He lived in 1965 at Coomhola Lodge, Bantry, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹
