     George Moncreiffe is the son of John Moncreiffe, 7th of that Ilk and Beatrix Dundas.¹ He married Mettey (?)¹
     He was Squire in charge of the royal armour in King James III of Scotland’s household.¹ He was ancestor of the Moncreiffes of Tippermaloch.¹ He lived at Tippermaloch, Scotland^G.¹ In 1473 he was granted Tippermaloch by King James III.¹

     Elspeth Moncreiffe is the daughter of Thomas Moncreiffe and Elspeth Baikie.² She married Arthur Baikie, 2nd of Tankerness, son of James Baikie, 1st of Tankerness, on 5 July 1665.¹
     From 5 July 1665, her married name became Baikie.¹

     Arthur Baikie, 2nd of Tankerness is the son of James Baikie, 1st of Tankerness. He married Elspeth Moncreiffe, daughter of Thomas Moncreiffe and Elspeth Baikie, on 5 July 1665.¹

     Mettey (?) was born at Denmark^G.¹ She married George Moncreiffe, son of John Moncreiffe, 7th of that Ilk and Beatrix Dundas.¹
     She was Lady-in-Waiting to King James III’s wife, Queen Margaret.¹ Her married name became Moncreiffe.¹

     Andrew Moncreiffe was the son of John Moncreiffe, 7th of that Ilk and Beatrix Dundas.¹ He died in 1494, murdered by Ramsay of Kilgour.¹

     David Steuart Moncreiffe of Moredun was born in 1710.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Moncreiffe of that Ilk, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Smythe.¹ He died on 17 April 1790.¹
     He was given the name of David Moncreiffe at birth.¹ He held the office of Baron of the Exchequer.¹ On 5 December 1768 his name was legally changed to David Steuart Moncreiffe.¹ He held the office of Exchequer Judge in 1781.¹

     Margaret Moncreiffe was born in 1707.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Moncreiffe of that Ilk, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Smythe.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Alexander Gordon of Auchintoul in 1740.¹ She died on 19 September 1788.¹
     From 1740, her married name became Gordon.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Alexander Gordon of Auchintoul married Margaret Moncreiffe, daughter of Sir Thomas Moncreiffe of that Ilk, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Smythe, in 1740.¹
     He was a Jacobite leader.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in the Russian Imperial Service.¹

     William Æneas Moncreiffe was born on 19 January 1825.¹ He was the son of Sir David Moncreiffe of that Ilk, 6th Bt. and Helen Mackay.² He died on 5 January 1906 at age 80 at Australia^G, unmarried.¹
     He was Officer.¹ Major.² He emigrated to Australia^G.¹

     Hon. Alice Louisa Wood was the daughter of Charles Wood, 1st Viscount Halifx of Monk Bretton and Lady Mary Grey.¹ She married Hon. John Charles Dundas, son of Hon. John Charles Dundas and Margaret Matilda Talbot, on 2 August 1870.¹ She died on 3 June 1934.¹
     From 2 August 1870, her married name became Dundas.¹
