Sir Thomas Moncreiffe of that Ilk, 1st Bt.1 
He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers entitled to practise as a an original member.1 He held the office of Clerk of the Exchequer and Treasurer [Scotland].1 In 1674 Bthe aronies of Moncreiffe and Easter Moncreiffe were united in his favour.1 He was created 1st Baronet Moncreiffe [Nova Scotia] on 30 November 1685, with a special remainder to heirs male whatsoever.1
