     Sir David Lindsay, 4th Bt. was born circa 1732.1 He was the son of Sir Alexander Lindsay, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Amelia Murray. He married Susanna Charlotte Long, daughter of Colonel Samuel Long and Mary Tate.1 He died on 6 March 1797.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Lindsay, of Evelick, co. Perth [S., 1666] on 6 May 1762.
