Ethel Catherine Hannah Gerard was born on 16 May 1881.¹ She was the daughter of William Cansfield Gerard, 2nd Baron Gerard of Bryn and Mary Emmeline Laura Milner.² She married Arnold Maurice de Bendern, Baron de Bendern, son of Baron unknown Hirsch, on 11 February 1904.¹ She died on 27 September 1966 at age 85.¹
     From 11 February 1904, her married name became de Bendern.

     Baron unknown Hirsch adopted Arnold Maurice de Bendern, Baron de Bendern.¹

     Arnold Maurice de Bendern, Baron de Bendern was the son of Baron unknown Hirsch.² He married Hon. Ethel Catherine Hannah Gerard, daughter of William Cansfield Gerard, 2nd Baron Gerard of Bryn and Mary Emmeline Laura Milner, on 11 February 1904.¹ He died on 6 October 1968.¹
     He was adopted by Baron unknown Hirsch.¹ He held the office of Councillor of State, Principality of Liechtenstein.¹ He gained the title of Baron de Forest.¹

     James Lenox was born in 1652.² He died in 1723.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Derry.¹

     Olivia Irvine is the daughter of Colonel William Irvine and Sophia Lowther.¹ She married George Lenox-Conyngham, son of Clotworthy Lenox and Anne Conyngham, on 5 April 1794.¹

     Reverend William Henry Irvine is the son of Colonel William Irvine and Sophia Lowther.²

     Major Rupert Charles Frederick Gerard was born on 6 October 1916.¹ He was the son of Colonel Charles Robert Tolver Michael Gerard and Aimée Gwendolyn Clarke.² He married Madeleine Huguette Reiss-Brian, daughter of Hugo Reiss and Marie Ignatius Murphy, on 29 March 1948.¹ He and Madeleine Huguette Reiss-Brian were divorced in 1969.¹ He died on 1 December 1978 at age 62.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1946.¹

     Hugo Reiss was born in 1879 at Michelfeld, Germany.² He married Marie Ignatius Murphy on 14 October 1911 at Yokohama, Japan.²
