Colonel John Bland1 
He purchased the lands of Rahinavannagh, Abbeyleix, County Laois, IrelandG, which he renamed to Blandsfort1 and built a mansion house there in 1715.1 His last will was dated 14 June 1728, he devised Blandsfort to his brother Humphrey and his heirs, or in default to William and his heirs.1
