     Her married name became Nicholas.¹

     William Cunningham was the son of John Cunningham and unknown daughter Gilmore.¹ He married Bess Dickey, daughter of John Dickey.¹
     He lived at Dunevin, County Antrim, Ireland.¹

     Hon. Eliza Napier was the daughter of Captain William John Napier, 9th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Eliza Cochrane-Johnstone.² She was also reported to have been married on 13 August 1847 at Ettrick Church, Selkirkshire, Scotland.³ She married Sir John Charles Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 3rd Bt., son of Sir James Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Heron-Maxwell, on 18 August 1847.¹ She died on 2 April 1901.¹
     From 18 August 1847, her married name became Dalrymple-Hay.¹

     James Francis Dalrymple-Hay was born on 31 May 1848.¹ He was the son of Sir John Charles Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Eliza Napier.² He married Ellen Douglas Johnston-Stewart, daughter of Robert Hathorn Johnston-Stewart of Physgill and Glasserton, on 15 April 1873.¹ He died on 1 May 1908 at age 59.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Scots Fusiliers.¹ He held the office of Member of the Ayrshire County Council.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Ayrshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Ayrshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wigtownshire.¹

     Ellen Douglas Johnston-Stewart was the daughter of Robert Hathorn Johnston-Stewart of Physgill and Glasserton.² She married James Francis Dalrymple-Hay, son of Sir John Charles Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Eliza Napier, on 15 April 1873.¹ She died on 2 April 1901.¹
     From 15 April 1873, her married name became Dalrymple-Hay.¹

     Eleanor Louisa Dalrymple-Hay was born circa 1876.² She was the daughter of James Francis Dalrymple-Hay and Ellen Douglas Johnston-Stewart.³ She married Brig.-Gen. John Archibald Houison-Craufurd of Craufordland, son of Colonel John Reginald Howison Craufurd of Carufurdland Castle and Mary Dundas Hamilton, on 27 August 1903.¹ She died on 15 December 1950.¹
     From 27 August 1903, her married name became Houison-Craufurd.¹ She was Headmistress between 1928 and 1931 at Westonbirt School, England^G.¹ She was the Principal between 1932 and 1950 at Downham School, Essex, England^G.¹

     Brig.-Gen. John Archibald Houison-Craufurd of Craufordland was born on 10 May 1862.² He was the son of Colonel John Reginald Howison Craufurd of Carufurdland Castle and Mary Dundas Hamilton.² He married Eleanor Louisa Dalrymple-Hay, daughter of James Francis Dalrymple-Hay and Ellen Douglas Johnston-Stewart, on 27 August 1903.¹ He died on 27 July 1933 at age 71.²
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Indian Army.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Sir William Archibald Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 4th Bt. was born on 30 January 1851.¹ He was the son of Sir John Charles Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Eliza Napier.² He married Mary McChlery, daughter of William McChlery, on 2 June 1906.¹ He died on 5 February 1929 at age 78, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Dalrymple-Hay, of Park Place, co. Wigtown [G.B., 1798] on 28 January 1912.¹

     Mary McChlery was the daughter of William McChlery.¹ She married Sir William Archibald Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Charles Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Eliza Napier, on 2 June 1906.¹ She died on 27 April 1933.¹
     From 2 June 1906, her married name became Dalrymple-Hay.¹
