     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ From before 1929, her married name became Elgar.¹ From 11 December 1929, her married name became Hambro.

     Ione Mary Clare Macpherson-Grant was born on 30 May 2007.¹ She is the daughter of Guy Ewan Macpherson-Grant of Ballindalloch, Younger and Victoria Houston Bowden.¹

     William Charles Scott was born in 1842.² He was the son of Maj.-Gen. William Henry Scott and Hon. Harriett Alethea Stanley.² He married Ursula Katharine Lane Lane Fox, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Augustus Henry Fox-Pitt-Rivers and Hon. Alice Margaret Stanley, on 14 January 1880.² He died in 1930.²

     Katharine Alethea Scott was born in 1881.² She was the daughter of William Charles Scott and Ursula Katharine Lane Lane Fox.^3,2 She married Lt.-Col. Harold Everard Hambro, son of Sir Everard Alexander Hambro and Gertrude Mary Stuart, on 29 April 1902.¹ She died in 1938.¹
     From 29 April 1902, her married name became Hambro.

     Nigel Harold Hambro was born on 18 January 1915.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Harold Everard Hambro and Katharine Alethea Scott.² He married Marjorie Caroline Innes, daughter of Lt.-Col. James Archibald Innes and Lady Barbara Lowther, on 30 October 1938.¹ He died on 29 January 1987 at age 72 at High Ham, Langport, Somerset, England.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery, Territorial Army.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1945.¹

     Mary Anne Morrison Lombard was the daughter of Major James Lombard and Ann Becher.¹ She died on 29 August 1851.¹

     Marjorie Caroline Innes was born circa 1918.² She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. James Archibald Innes and Lady Barbara Lowther.³ She married Nigel Harold Hambro, son of Lt.-Col. Harold Everard Hambro and Katharine Alethea Scott, on 30 October 1938.¹ She died on 1 October 2004.²
     From 30 October 1938, her married name became Hambro.
