     William Henry Valpy was born in 1832.² He was the son of William Henry Valpy and Caroline J. Jeffreys.² He married Penelope Caroline Every, daughter of Frederick Simon Every and Mary Brutton, on 1 May 1853.¹ He died in 1911.²

     Reverend William Jowitt was born on 2 July 1834.¹ He was the son of John Jowitt and Mary Ann Norton.¹ He married Louisa Margaret Allen, daughter of John Allen, in 1866.¹ He died in 1912.¹
     He was educated at St. John’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was educated at University College, Durham, County Durham, England^G.¹ He was the Rector at Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     John Allen lived at Oldfield Hall, Altrincham, Cheshire, England^G.¹

     Sir John Keane, 1st Bt. was born in 1757.² He was the son of Richard Keane.³ He married, firstly, Sarah Kelly, daughter of Richard Kelly, in March 1778.² He married, secondly, Dorothy Scott, daughter of Richard Scott, on 27 March 1804 at Bath, Somerset, England.^3,4 He died on 19 April 1829.³
     He was created 1st Baronet Keane, of Cappoquin House, co. Waterford [U.K.] on 1 August 1801.³ He lived at Belmont, County Waterford, Ireland.²

     Lt.-Gen. Sir John Smith gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Charlotte Maria Boland was the daughter of Colonel John Boland.¹ She married, firstly, Lt.-Gen. John Keane, 1st Baron Keane, son of Sir John Keane, 1st Bt. and Sarah Kelly, on 20 August 1840 at All Saints’ Church, Southampton, Hampshire, England.^1,2 She married, secondly, William Pigott, son of Sir George Pigott, 1st Bt. and Annabella Kelly, on 18 October 1847 at Newmarket, Cambridgeshire, England.^3,2 She died on 8 September 1884.³
     After her marriage, Charlotte Maria Boland was styled as Baroness Keane on 20 August 1840. From 20 August 1840, her married name became Keane.¹ From 18 October 1847, her married name became Pigott.³

     Katharine Mary McLeod was the daughter of Major Alexander McLeod.¹ She married, firstly, Thomas L. Brooke before 1881.¹ She married, secondly, Vice-Admiral Hon. George Disney Keane, son of Lt.-Gen. John Keane, 1st Baron Keane and Grace Smith, on 31 July 1881.¹ She died on 16 January 1894.²
     She lived Mere Hall.² Cheshire.² From before 1881, her married name became Brooke.¹ From 31 July 1881, her married name became Keane.¹
