     Sir Alfred Bray Kempe was the son of Reverend John Edward Kempe.² He married Mary Bowman, daughter of Sir William Bowman, 1st Bt. and Harriet Paget, in 1877.¹ He died on 21 April 1921.¹
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Agnes Bowman was born on 6 September 1849.² She was the daughter of Sir William Bowman, 1st Bt. and Harriet Paget.³ She married, firstly, John William Conyers Merriman in 1876.¹ She married, secondly, Reverend Earle Augustus Langston on 14 May 1892.¹ She died on 30 August 1893 at age 43.¹
     From 1876, her married name became Merriman. From 14 May 1892, her married name became Langston.¹

     John William Conyers Merriman was born on 28 July 1854 at 44 Kensington Square, London, England^G.² He married Agnes Bowman, daughter of Sir William Bowman, 1st Bt. and Harriet Paget, in 1876.¹ He died on 25 February 1888 at age 33.^1,2 He was buried on 29 February 1888 at Kensal Green Cemetery, London, England^G.²
     He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)¹

     Thomas Norton lived at Peckham Rye, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Sir William Paget-Bowman, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 September 1845.¹ He was the son of Sir William Bowman, 1st Bt. and Harriet Paget.² He married Emily Frances Swabey, daughter of William Swabey, on 9 August 1870.¹ He died on 7 January 1917 at age 71.²
     He was given the name of William Bowman at birth.¹ He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ His name was legally changed to William Paget-Bowman.¹ He was a practising barrister.¹ He was a director of the Clergy Mutual Assurance Society.¹ He was Registrar of the Corporation of Sons of Clergy.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bowman, of Holmbury St. Mary, co. Surrey [U.K., 1884] on 29 March 1892.¹

     William Swabey lived at Wavendon House, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Horse Artillery.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹

     Emily Frances Swabey was the daughter of William Swabey.² She married Sir William Paget-Bowman, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Bowman, 1st Bt. and Harriet Paget, on 9 August 1870.¹ She died on 13 January 1927.¹
     From 9 August 1870, her married name became Paget-Bowman.

     Louisa Margaret Allen is the daughter of John Allen.¹ She married Reverend William Jowitt, son of John Jowitt and Mary Ann Norton, in 1866.¹
     From 1866, her married name became Jowitt.¹
