Dorothy Brudenell1

Dorothy Brudenell was born in 1646.2 She was the daughter of Francis Brudenell, Lord Brudenell and Lady Frances Savile.1 She married, firstly, Charles Fane, 3rd Earl of Westmorland, son of Mildmay Fane, 2nd Earl of Westmorland and Grace Thornhurst, before 1691.1 She married, secondly, Robert Constable, 3rd Viscount Dunbar, son of John Constable, 2nd Viscount of Dunbar and Lady Mary Brudenell, on 1 August 1697.3 She died on 26 January 1739/40, without issue.1
After her marriage, Dorothy Brudenell was styled as Countess of Westmorland before 1691. From before 1691, her married name became Fane.1 From 1 August 1697, her married name became Constable.3 Note that Cokayne reports Dorothy as the daughter of Rober Brudenell, 2nd Earl of Cardigan and his second wife, Anne Savage.3

Robert Constable, 3rd Viscount Dunbar was born circa 1661.1 He was the son of John Constable, 2nd Viscount of Dunbar and Lady Mary Brudenell.2 He married, firstly, Mary Belasyse, daughter of John Belasyse, 1st Baron Belasyse of Worlaby and Jane Boteler, in 1672.2 He married, secondly, Dorothy Brudenell, daughter of Francis Brudenell, Lord Brudenell and Lady Frances Savile, on 1 August 1697.1 He died on 23 November 1714.1
He gained the title of 3rd Viscount Dunbar.
