     Charles Gerard Mackworth-Young was born on 6 July 1954.² He is the son of S/Ldr. Sir Robert Christopher Mackworth-Young and Helen Editha Rosemarie Aue.² He married Lady Iona Sina Lindsay, daughter of Robert Alexander Lindsay, 29th Earl of Crawford and Ruth Beatrice Meyer-Bechtler, on 28 June 1983.²

     Sir Robert Erskine of that Ilk was born in 1310.² He was the son of Sir William Erskine of that Ilk.³ He married, firstly, Beatrice de Lindsay, daughter of Sir Alexander de Lindsay.¹ He married, secondly, Christian Menteith, daughter of Sir John Menteith, Lord of Arran and Helen of Mar, in 1352.³ He died in 1385.³
