     Very Rev. Cuthbert Carroll Thicknesse was born on 19 November 1887.¹ He was the son of Venerable Francis Norman Thicknesse and Mary Sibylla Walker.² He married Rhoda Oonah Marjorie Pratt, daughter of Reverend Henry Madan Pratt and Gratiana Sophia Margaret Wilson, on 22 June 1916.¹
