     John Henry Chapple was born in 1895.¹ He married Winifred Brooke, daughter of Harry Brooke and Mary Jane Morley, in January 1919 at Eastbourne, Sussex, England^G.¹ He died in 1968.¹

     June Patricia Chapple is the daughter of John Henry Chapple and Winifred Brooke.¹

     John Douglas William Chapple was born on 7 November 1921.¹ He is the son of John Henry Chapple and Winifred Brooke.¹

     Sir Charles Erskine of Alva was the son of John Erskine, 19th/2nd Earl of Mar and Lady Mary Stuart.¹ A contract for the marriage of Sir Charles Erskine of Alva and Mary Hope was signed on 10 January 1639.² He died on 8 July 1663.³

     Sir Charles Erskine of Alva, 1st Bt. was born on 4 July 1643.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Erskine of Alva and Mary Hope.¹ He married Christian Dundas, daughter of Sir James Dundas, Lord Arniston and Marion Boyd, in 1670.² He died on 4 June 1690 at age 46.¹
